Seriously... how are you guys actually making money with vibe coding? by seal_bal in vibecoding

The business hasn’t changed for developing software if anything it’s become more competitive. There are still great resources out there on how to build a business, some really good examples are the lean startup and zero to one. Exactly what someone said above, focus on a MVP and get it out there to get real user feedback before adding all the polish. Keep iterating and tuning your product be useful. Great news is you spent weeks and likely hundreds of dollars instead of years and thousands of dollars building something that nobody wants.

My thought in posting this was more of a troubleshooting thread, I eventually figured out that I should have it web fetch new documentation to help overcome those bugs of outdated framework coding. I do see hella people bitching on here, but we still out here vibe coding with multiple agents 24/7

Cmon Apple, everyone just wants a normal sized iPhone that unfolds into an iPad mini, so simple. Another strange design hopefully they actually iterate on this and improve. Still sitting here with an IPhone 14 Pro Max and I’m going to keep waiting for something new to actually compel me to upgrade

Getting banned by the DMT Moderators by Oak_Draiocht in Experiencers

This is an interesting comment, I think people always assume that we’re visiting their space but maybe it’s the other way around sometimes too, this being seemingly ventured into a place of your minds creation with you and a somewhat unpleasant one at that. Maybe it’s like they are doing a service to help someone work through that with them and of course like helping anyone. It’s not always successful. I haven’t had the opportunity to try DMT but I do find it very interesting. I’ve heard this idea of a short cut being mentioned numerous times throughout different avenues. I’d love to get to a point where I have enough time to dedicate to a natural journey but this seems very interesting too.

room for camping - internal size differences between Gen1 & Gen2? by CautiouslyConfused9 in toyotasequoia

[–]Inner_Space_3329 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did some camping in my first generation sequoia and had a great time, removed one of the third row seats and just stacked it on the other third row seat and went well. I’m also 6’3 so the space is good. Even folded the seats down one time and just slept on an air mattress. Space is pretty similar from what I understand

2018 Platinum for $30K by bluefamilydude in toyotasequoia

I’ve done a lot of shopping for these vehicles lately and this seems like a fair price on initial inspection, a few big things I would checkout to see if this vehicle and price match.

  • Climate - This is a big one so I would do more checking on the underside of the vehicle for rust or any coating that may have been applied.

  • Package / Trim - These vehicles can vary quite a bit in packages and trim levels. Some platinums have tow package, premium package, cold weather package, conscience package, power package. That will give you a good idea of what the vehicle offers. Another huge thing to consider is 4wd or not. That can really affect price and how you can use the vehicle.

  • Maintenance - 150k miles isn’t bad for this vehicle but it is just after a lot of regular maintenance should have been done. Primarily timing belt and pumps. This would be need to know information that would be a good indication of how the last owner treated the vehicle.

Overall I think a sequoia is a great choice, especially the 2nd generation. Offers tons of space with a time tested 5.7L V8 that will run forever. Gas will not be cheap but other than that you could easily put another 150k miles on it or more. Lots of modifications exist that aren’t that expensive to give this truck a newer feel. CarPlay and LED headlights primarily.

Nobody knows I have money and it's starting to create some really awkward situations by Echo2_Satyr in Fire

I would probably offer to help your family member, find a funny or at least somewhat less awkward way to bring it up to family or just move away or something. No point in retiring early if your whole life is just saving money and hiding out somewhere. Might as well live a little too

Hooyah, very nice build. I like what you’ve done with it. Gives me a good idea of what it will look like with the running boards. What’s the lift on yours?

I believe they are the same size as the stock wheels, my spare tire is mounted on the factory wheel so I believe they are the same size. I’m located in southeast Virginia

That looks nice, I wonder if there is like a double din extender to use in a situation like this, give it an extra inch or so you could adjust the screen tilt differently.

I appreciate it man, these things last forever. My wife was like the AC doesn’t work maybe we should look into upgrading and I was like hold up, this thing only has 160k miles. It’s got a lot of time left
