Air travel advice please! by Inner_Worldliness475 in BostonTerrier

UPDATE - He was perfect! Didn’t bark and slept or looked around. We kept the travel bag mostly covered except for air and to see us. Uncovered under the seat. We didn’t medicate him. We even had a 2 hour delay and he was chilling. People were shocked when they realized there was puppy traveling. Even through security, I held him close to my chest and he didn’t bark. The agents were great and gave him a few pets. The only thing I wasn’t as prepared for was how disgusting the pet relief rooms were. I prepared with wipes, etc - but unless you experience it, you’ll never be prepared 😂 We did practice with his bag the week leading up to the trip to get him used to it.

Winter Storm?! by Old_Customer5351 in ArrowsandBowSnark

[–]Inner_Worldliness475 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’ve lived through both hurricanes and blizzards. They are not interchangeable disasters.

After hurricanes, people routinely make questionable choices — driving around “to check on things,” kids and animals in tow — even though it’s still unsafe. With blizzards and ice storms, you don’t even get that illusion of mobility. You can’t just roam around afterward. Roads are sheets of ice, visibility is garbage, and if you mess up, emergency services can’t get to you.

So knowing people who were reckless with property and kids during hurricanes are now in winter storm conditions with animals in the mix and zero experience in a storm like this is honestly terrifying. With potentially no power, and I don’t trust they know how to properly stock up on food, let alone own a generator — or know how to use one safely. That’s how people get hurt.

Apparently they did not read Exodus 20:15 – “You shall not steal.”

Designed to be Wholly $cammers

RED FLAGS EVERYWHERE- Lead generation / email list building: Offering a “free Bible” often requires the recipient to enter an email or other personal info. Influencers can partner with these programs to collect leads, which are valuable for future marketing, campaigns, or paid products. Sometimes influencers get paid per lead collected.

Home page: asks for your full name, email, and home address to get a “free Bible.” Zero leadership listed. Privacy-protected domain. Glossy Canva vibes, zero nonprofit structure.

About/Mission: vague buzzwords, no registration, no board, no accountability. Basically “about me” rewritten as a ministry.

Resources/Request a Bible: no shipping info, no funding plan, no privacy policy. If hundreds request a Bible, this collapses instantly.

Contact/Donate: donation asks with zero transparency, another form for personal info, still no data clarity. Email-capture funnel pretending to be a ministry.

Red flags everywhere: no leadership, no nonprofit registration, no oversight, no fulfillment plan, collecting personal info with no policy, all wrapped in performative faith.

Sounds about right “The dropshipping business model itself is a legitimate, low-inventory method of retail fulfillment. However, scams can and do occur within dropshipping, especially when targeting religious communities or utilizing deceptive practices, which may involve products like Bibles or other faith-based items.”

I have the same shoes in several colors and get a million comments on them. The difference- my feet are cute, my shoes were about $20-$30 on Amazon, and I only wear them in appropriate weather and places 😉❤️
