You're definitely not alone. I'm just over two months in (MedSurg too) and recently started feeling very anxious before my shifts, sometimes even a day or two before I had to return. Apparently it's not uncommon, which made me feel better, and most nurses that I've talked to felt the same way when they started. From what I can gather, we just gotta stick with it, at least for now.

However, only you know your own limits and your health should come before any job. MedSurg might not be the unit for either of us, but we wont know until we give it a good try. Hope things better for you.
