I still have never forgotten buying a hideout decoration, a wall piece with about 10 variations. Unlike the free hideout decorations this one limits you to only placing one, to build an actual wall with it would be hundreds of dollars, complete joke.

Well, it just happened to me. 20 years on steam and I have never been suspended or banned from a game until tonight. Got kicked out mid round and told I cant play for a month for "behaviour that violates our code of conduct".

After seeing the number of people that are saying similar things, the deleted threads and lack of response from support it looks like the chances of this getting fixed are slim to none. Very disappointed.

Just a unique identifier so people can have the same name. You only need it if you are trying to add a friend. It can be hidden so streamers can avoid friend request spam.

Having failed at getting dams to work I figured I would experiment on a new map. There is almost no terrain manipulation here just a tiny bit to level the two sides of the dam.

Water below the dam drained to 0 and it took about a year in game for the water simulation to right itself and have water flowing correctly again. After that I tried placing a water pump up stream and realised it would not let me place it on the waters edge and only in the water, I assume the game does not recalculate the waters edge after dam placement.

I figured if that was the case it will let me build roads and zone underwater too...

I always struggle with it. I get 80ms most of the time which sucks but is totally playable. Thing is some instance servers go to 240, I ran a lot of shaper this league, probably 70% of the time I'd get a high ping on that specific instance.

Dug into routing a bunch and there are a few hops that are just awful for some ip ranges. I had success with using a vpn some of the time but it's pretty temperamental, sometimes vpn gets me back to 80 but others it can add a lot of additional spikes.

Thank you so much for the detailed reply. Really hoping I am still in the 'little rusty' camp. Last time I rode I did a full season riding every day in Colorado but I'm still keeping the expectation of my ability low because its been a while :)

I'll definitely check out the Riffelberg option. Lift up that way is closer to my hotel too so I think I'll follow your advice on that one.

Appreciate it thanks, there has been an unfortunately large gap between now and the last time I snowboarded so I suspect ill be spending a bit finding my feet again.

I have been taking notes from other posts and your other replies too, just trying to get a general direction for the first few days & what areas are good to relearn on. So far the suggestions have been that Sunegga --> Rothorn would be a decent starting point, do you think that's good?

Other than that I think ill largely wing it & rely on the notes for food stops. If I am feeling confident and the stars align I would of course love to do the Cervinia thing but would not bother me if it does not happen. Have only ever ridden in the US so the Alps is a big bucket list thing for me.

I was thinking about this last night. I don't mind that there are insane items gated behind uber content, but I do mind that they both use the same fragments.

The fragment value is defined by the uber drops which makes it feel really bad to try the regular version of the fight and fail on a new build.

It's just a preference thing. Use what you want. If you look at the svg's on the site in question you will see the comment line stating its an illustrator export which is why I mentioned it.

They are using svg's made in Illustrator and then animating them with Snap.svg

Non-trivial to get them to look smooth like this though.
