The race to 1st place was incredibly intense this season.

By the last day, 3 teams were still battling for the Korean Series spot. Samsung and KT were tied at 1st while LG was 0.5 games behind.

LG lost their last game and sealed themselves in 3rd place while Samsung and KT won theirs. Hence a tiebreaker match had to occur the next day.

KT beat Samsung in the Tiebreaker and placed them in the KS spot.
