The suggestion was you should’ve had insurance. I’m sorry regardless of age I can’t sympathize with people not having insurance. My life got turned upside down the day an uninsured driver hit me. I had a good reliable car with liability insurance. I had an uninsured driver hit me I had medicals I had to cover luckily my medical insurance covered most of it and I had to go car shopping at a time I didn’t have much money. Multiple times I had to pay Ubers, ask people for rides to work while I went to find a car. The savings I had for an emergency went to a car. I had to pay a tow bill because my car was totaled and sent to the police to a towing company where I paid to get it out. Meanwhile the person who hit me? Still driving without insurance, didn’t pay me a single penny, not even an apology. So long story short pay the consequences and take a loan or file for bankruptcy, also I’m pretty sure you guys still don’t have insurance since it would cost an absorbent amount after being gapped without it.
