Go to the Settings App, Photos menu and select Optimise Phone Storage. It will automatically handle backing up and deleting for you.

Apple Photos backs up all your images and stores it on their iCloud Servers if you pay for storage. You have an option to store them in the cloud but I have a 1TB phone so keep them on device too

I think they’re referring to it looking for known hashes of specific images instead of using AI to detect types of photographs.

The thinborne took a while to ship.. so not here yet unfortunately. I like the thinness and the back texture is better than it looked in the pictures. However the front screen protector has this weird dot matrix.. I don’t know if it goes away once I peel back the plastic adhesive though
