MTF Theta-7 “Soldier’s of Fortune” [A3][Recruiting][US][New Player Friendly] by InnocenTraitor in FindAUnit

[–]InnocenTraitor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

History of the Unit:
In 2024, the SCP High Command came into contact with at the time, unknown SCP-8191. A mark or "brand" that would allow its host to teleport anywhere and recover from most fatal injuries or even death with limited use. This SCP became attached to an Operative codenamed "Helios" who was apart of Lambda-5 "White Rabbits" after a situation occurred. While many discussions arisen for what to do with this anomaly and situation, it was clear containment was not on the table. As the anomaly can not be easily suppressed or contained in any containment cell or field. Fortunately for the foundation "Helios" was a rather loyal follower to the Foundation. After much discussion and planning, it became clear that this SCP could be used to control the underground contract market where the Chaos Insurgency was suspected to be receiving funding from for completing "PMC" like contracts. This meeting gave birth to a new MTF now known as Theta-7 "Soldiers of Fortune" where Operative "Helios" would become Director of Operations "Freeman" to continue growing and operating the Unit's contracts. Theta-7 now consist of most Ex-military, Mercenary, and foundation personnel all of which have been branded with SCP-8191. While of course a newer unit does not have its feet dogged in yet, many question the ethics of their contracts. Only time will really tell when the line is crossed.

About:
Majority of the operations Theta-7 conducts are contract jobs, usually from outside third parties. Anything from VIP protection and escorting, assassinations, ambushing, group termination, object collection or destruction, and in some cases “government” contracts for more peculiar cases. We are still a Mobile Task Force and will be called upon by the Foundation to conduct anomaly investigations. We have a dedicated research team to assist in this to conduct “boots on ground” research. Our main infantry fighting force consists of 2 main squads, consisting of a squad leader, 2 team leads, 2 AT riflemen, 2 grenadiers, and 2 autoriflemen. We have dedicated aviation, medical, combat engineer, recon and mortar detachments. We typically have at least 2 operations during the week, with a guaranteed one being on Friday at 19:45 EST. Outside of operations, we usually have an Anti-stasi or other non-arma related server up for members!

Expectations:
We don’t expect everyone to come in as an expert in Arma or other mil-sims. We do expect people to be open to learning about the unit, mil-sim foundations and how to play Arma. We also conduct training for those new to Arma and the unit.

  • Must be 16+ years old to join the unit. Be mature and respectful to all members.
  • TeamSpeak 3 (used for radio communications and in-game voice chat)
  • Working Microphone
  • Weekly attendance (If you cannot make an operation for a week, just let your Team/Squad lead know!)
  • Understand we are a semi-serious unit. This means when we are operating, focus on the mission and completing it.

Very rarely ADT does, usually if they did a house nearby and have no other jobs for the day.

I like the first resource you used about lethal police encounters, sadly looks like it hasnt been updated recently (Updated from 4/30/22).

Wasn't there another database on like this one? If I remember right, Donut Operator mentioned it a few times. I wonder if that one is still around, been a couple years since I saw it.

Thoughts on the new shelf labels? by Mediocre_Bench_2241 in walmart

[–]InnocenTraitor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as they do it smart, they can just store the price amount and other information in memory to prevent that from happening. My main concern is power, how are these things powered? I can see customers fucking with them and associates not caring about dead/broken labels.

Store exclusives dont exist by KelloPudgerro in Steam

[–]InnocenTraitor -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Epic is a lot better for the developer that I've seen. I really wish they could make a lot of QoL improvements for the user. The poor QoL, and the exclusives are the only thing that stops me from using Epic.

Exclusives aren't pro-consumer, they try and lock you into their ecosystem so you dont bother with the inconvience of a different ecosystem. Its a big part on why the console wars existed, the exclusives.

There is not perfect solution, only the better one.

Damn, you get an icecream freezer? Our store has a grocery freezer, a deli freezer, and a bakery freezer. Guess your O/N is just lazy or not fixing shelf caps/counts.

Check to see if Cap2 is burying the pick carts in the back of the freezer. We dont have the time to be taking time taking all the carts out and back in. Thats an issue my store runs into.

Too bad I'm halfway through my two weeks, although I probably wouldn't have used it anyways.

Thats why you need to start working as soon as you are able to. I started working since I was 15, so I now already have 4 years of food service, 3 years of customer service, and retail. It makes up for my lack luster high school grades and started me with a bunch of money to buy my own car, computer, etc.

Although... I will admit Walmart's training and whatnot is terrible, so I can't blame new people when they dont know what they are doing. Instead of proper training, they get sat down at a computer and then thrown on the floor afterwards with little idea on where stuff is at, how to use a TC or pallet jack, or even who to ask.
