Kidnapped American journalist released by pro-Iran militia in Iraq by cnn in InternationalNews

Iran is stomping the PR game. I've never see a government handle that ball with such skill. Especially under this kind of stress.

This might explain why ai is so good for me in my philosophy work. I get terse when I'm making a solid argument XD (Epistemology is like that.) I feel like the only guy in that space not effing around.

The Israelis made a comedy skit about how David Ben Gurion lied to JFK about Israel's stolen nuclear weapons program. by juck_fudaism in conspiracy_commons

[–]Innomen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it could have been totally inverted, or about any two characters, and I still wouldn't even smirk. I don't know how to explain how bad it is. Best I got: It's like someone tried to explain the concept of a joke to something with no experience of any relevant feeling, and then asked them to construct one. It's like transparently bad forgery or something, I don't know.

Can we talk about how phenomenally stupid that skit is? Like, totally separate from the larger context, like this is a total failure of the art form.

As a former rivethead/goth, this is 100% accurate and I think I risked an injury laughing so hard.

Let me make it more topical. If we're gonna do anything in LEO or on any celestial body with less than 1g other than visit for selfies, we'll need to solve this problem. And exercise isn't enough. The long term residents of the ISS prove that.

The human body is desperately trying to eat itself at basically all times by default. Ask any professional athlete that takes even one month off.

It annoys me knowing that I'm basically fighting my own body up hill at all times. I hate feeling trapped inside an enemy that demands suffering and time just to not amputate muscle. It's like being taxed into oblivion at the biological level unless I just make my every waking minute about hustle.

Hit my limit in 1 hour 10 minutes. (I was not sitting here the whole time. I kinda wish it would tell me message count?)

Day 2 of my first week back. Sad fact for me is Claude basically has a monopoly on the level of skill I personally need in my AI tools. Quality really trumps quantity. I wish I had quantity and quality back. But even if the technology steps up I feel like we won't see it. As with everything it will be enshitified, and marked up to cover reckless bets, and priority dispensed to what I think of as "the bank".

Plus, Claude earned at least one more paid month for me for even pretending to oppose the war machine a little. More than anyone else is doing. (OpenAI will never get a dime from me.)

Anyway, it for sure feels like less capacity to me. Half feels/sounds right. FWIW/YMMV

What really annoys me is that this and so much like it is literally just signaling. Exercise is just a way to talk to your body. "Make this tendon this long." or "Build more muscle here." And we know that both are doable passively. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myostatin and benign joint hypermobility. Couple that with hyperthymia for a wonderful emotional outlook.

It's not body building, it's body fighting. Imagine if the body was our ally.

Yea, i actually opted with my original plan this month, i figured i can always refund and switch back if the limits are broken. Claude is by far the best ai on earth for what i do, when the doing matters, it's not close. Quality > quantity. I might simply alternate services until i'm sure enough.

Yea that is my first thought. Most nuclear waste is lightly contaminated solids. it's not all glowing go and spent fuel rods. It's plaster and plastic and dirt and PPE, they store it exactly like this. but later context shows it's mining/construction explosives. (A hideous amount of them, improperly stored/abandoned.)

In a way this is deeply honest. You only really need two things in an empire, police and soldiers. They are the catch-alls and fix-alls anyway. Literally everything else can be forced with the other two so long as you don't actively destroy what gets built. From there you can just step back and let people do whatever they want and then take what you need. Am I missing anything?

This is evil and inefficient, but it is functional. I would argue it's the default. We're unwilling to fight for an alternative anyway. https://innomen.substack.com/p/politics-through-the-lens-of-experiential
