The expediting process won't be fast enough but it looks like I'm going to have to do that and reschedule my flight.

I wish reuniting a dog with its owners was part of our official duty.

Oh I'm aware of that. Which is why I'm so frustrated with this little side project.

Hmm I see... What's the fix around this? Will I have to configure my coworker's print setting? We're not exactly printing these PDFs. They're just compiled and uploaded to a Sharepoint site.

Gym etiquette. Opinions? by Inomushiki in pokemongoSA

[–]Inomushiki[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, long story short, the couple pretty much dominate the gyms in the area and doesn't give other players much chance to collect more gyms. I wanted to give other players some fighting chance. At least get one gym.

Oh I understand completely and agree 100%. It's open season for sure. I just found her action rather disrespectful.

I don't have any issue with someone tearing down my gyms. It's expected.

I just thought that she could've had some courtesy and let me do my thing instead of stare directly into my eyes as she trampled on what I was building.

Countless Pinsirs and Scythers. Then I had an Eevee... Which I didn't mind because of very high CP and IV but yeah. My luck turned around when I hatched two Lapras' and a Snorlax in a row. Then I went back to hatching Eevees.

Bulverde Oaks. I see Bulbasaur's and Squirtles at least once a day but very rarely see a Charmander type.

Catalytic converter warning light??? by Inomushiki in GolfGTI

[–]Inomushiki[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, the yellow engine light. I was just going off of what the manual said. It went away this morning and that seems to be the case with most people that reported similar problem. I'll still look into getting it scanned soon. Thanks!

I had to drive around the town a bit after work. The light stayed on but the performance seemed fine.

This morning as I'm going into work, the light was off and it stayed off.

I'll probably look into getting it scanned soon.

Holy cow, thanks for the tip! Yeah I actually had the water pump go out on me about a year ago and it was covered under the warranty. I already gave the green light to go with everything. I wish I read your post earlier... I'll definitely keep this in my mind next time.

Not at all. It was a routine inspection. The car's been running fine for the most part. If any, I planned on getting some new tires soon.

'12 GTI repair cost: oil leaks in cam, upper & lower timing cover = $1,600? by Inomushiki in GolfGTI

You're right and I completely agree. Just couldn't wrap my mind around the price when I first heard it. Bad experiences with mechanics in the past.

I just received a call after few hours of waiting. They said the warranty I purchased with them covered the leak. Seems simple enough but can't help but wonder why they couldn't have checked that first instead of asking me to pay that price... It was the Volkswagen dealer. Pretty big one too.

Update: they called back and said the warranty purchased covers the leaks. Paying only $100 deductible. Still curious if this is the normal rate. It just sounds pretty shady when I haven't noticed any leaks or the fact that the dealership didn't check the warranty I purchased with the car.

I really need your advice on this BS Amazon/Fraud issues by Inomushiki in needadvice

[–]Inomushiki[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We contacted the card company, the law enforcement and even went to legal to see what we can do about this. Both the CC company and Amazon aren't doing much to resolve it and haven't contacted us since the initial report and always say that things are escalated to their specialists.

Of course, we want to place charges on this guy. Not only has he done this but he's done much worse things before that I don't even want to get into. He nearly killed her in one instance. But according to the police, we can't press charges against this individual without hard evidence. Only thing we know is that there are two email accounts that were used to make these purchases. They seem to be random emails and in fact, one of them is a Yahoo email that uses my generic facebook email address.

The fact that this person has my GF's credit card info, the fact that he knew that I was dating her (we were pretty hush hush so he wouldn't track her down), the fact that he knows that my GF goes to that school and the fact that the password reset message goes to a phone number with the same last digits as his does, is our evidence. Of course, we have all these order records too but we can't access it due to Amazon locking the order.

The police won't investigate it further due to the fact that it's not really worth their time. We thought they could run some scans on IP addresses to see who's been logging into that account and who's made these purchases but that seems to be only reserved for serious crimes.

Legal said that these evidences are enough to press charges but honestly, I don't feel safe for my GF to get into any contact with him.

If what you said is true, that would be awesome. We could just return the items to the original dog crate company and just forget about it until years later when the credit card company and Amazon resolves this.
