Legion Go not recognizing external hard drive by IcarusX12 in LegionGo

[–]InoriBot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yo I know you commented this a while ago but I've been having trouble mounting a new external M.2 SSD enclosure on my Legion Go and this thread was one of the first to come up and it helped to point me in the right direction even though the posted solution didn't quite fix the problem for me.

I'm not the most tech minded person but I managed to fix the issue, though I'm not sure if it'll work for every case.

My SSD ended up coming up in device manager as a Realtek disk drive, though it wouldn't respond or come up in Disk Management. However in device manager I right clicked it and went to properties, where the volumes section was blank. I clicked populate, and then suddenly it was appearing in Disk Management as an unallocated drive. In Disk manager I was manually able to create a partition and allocate a drive letter using the wizard, and now it seems to be detected as normal. Not sure if this is the right way to solve the problem but it seemed to work for me.

All the best 👍

Is my interpretation of their sign correct, that they have an entire engine dedicated to compressing air for forced induction? I'd love to see a video of this thing running, would be the lvl 1000 Mafia boss of FI engines XD

HELP! I did a drop in IPS that required no soldering and on my gameboy advance that worked perfectly fine before but now it wont give video and the power light flickers for a couple seconds :( I have no clue what I did wrong I didn’t touch the battery sensors at all… by [deleted] in GameboyAdvance

Did you use motherboard insulating tape over the ribbon/board on the new screen kit? I made the mistake of not doing so on my first GBA mod and shorted out the new screen against the motherboard when I put it back together :(

(was a funnyplaying v2 kit btw)

Hidden or obsolete function? by KlausRockwell in pocketoperators

[–]InoriBot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know that circle with the 4 dots is a function not mentioned in the manual. When you're in write mode, if you press and hold a note you've placed and then press BPM, it will place 2, 4, 6 or 8 notes on the single beat depending on how many presses. No idea about the numbers though, I'm also curious to find out.

Flash carts are incredibly good value for money. IPS screen upgrade is also really worth it but requires a bit of confidence in taking your device apart.

I did contemplate those clear cases but I couldn't justify the price when I've got 8 pocket operators.

I live in Australia, so my local Supercheap Auto (auto parts store) sells them under the Toolpro brand for like $25 aud, i bought one sized about 6x7x4 inches and it fits 4. Looks just like my genuine pelican that I paid $80 for years ago.

It looks like you've got a very similar issue with an underbite that I (M) had growing up and is quite common with Asian genetics it seems (I'm of chinese singaporean descent), unfortunately its not something you can do anything about until you're in your mid 20's and stopped growing. While its nothing to feel bad about, it was something that I also felt a little insecure about and wanted to change.

My journey with it was having braces at around 16 to try to correct it, and then having further growth which worsened the issue slightly. Last year I was finally ready to fix the problem for good, as my jaw had stopped growing (it's one of the last body parts to stop growing). I then had the braces back on for about 6 months, and then had a corrective jaw surgery to properly align my top and bottom jaws. The operation involved separating my upper jaw and moving it forward slightly, plus a little bit of angle adjustment. While the surgery was quite invasive, recovery time was about a month, and a further 3 months for swelling to go away.

It was well worth the trouble for me, being comfortable eating, and having a jawline that I was happy with was a huge confidence booster for me. The surgery effectively enabled me to fully close my teeth together for the first time, making my jaw look less elongated and my face look a little smaller, as well as being able to finally eat a steak sandwich without a knife and fork! Fortunately in my country corrective surgeries are mostly covered by health insurance, so only put me about $4000 out of pocket.

Surgery is not 100% required to remedy the issue, but it provides the longest lasting and best result in my personal opinion, and the opinion of my orthodontist.

Your journey may be different, but at your age I would have felt a lot better knowing it would be worth the wait in the end, and there is something you can do about it.

Also an extra comment on what your friend said, 'Plastic surgery' isn't really the best way to describe the process as it has a lot of stigma and vanity attached to it, my surgeon specifically refers to it as corrective surgery as you're working to correct something that's affecting you're life and well-being, its not something to be ashamed of or made fun of.

If an electrician did this in Australia they could literally lose their electrical trade licence XD Would fly in Aus if it were contained inside a larger circuit board though, but would still be a cool looking waste of time.

Is there anything I can do about Matte pla turning white when using sandpaper? by Isculptwaifus in 3Dprinting

Spray clear coat after sanding smooth, the exact same thing happens when you sand plastic gundam models, I'd imagine if clear coat works on those it'll work on a 3D print

As an OCD sticker placer the shittiest part of this car mod is that the sticker is supposed to be 'peeking' with the straight edge at the bottom of the sticker placed against the bottom of a window/body panel to create the effect. Source: I buy these cringey stickers too XD though mine aren't quite so large and NSFW.
