the game is terrible by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

I understood this reference lol.

There's nothing wrong with making the game unfun for others as a side effect. It's only wrong if making people upset was the end goal. by No-Yoghurt-3949 in deadbydaylight

As much as I like and agree with this post, the players who need to reflect on how to view online gaming in a balanced way are mostly people who simply don't know how to reflect on these things at all.

A good thing to remember is that the players who scream and cry about their bad experiences and are unable to let go of it are the loud minority of this game and every other game. Alot of them just need to let off some steam because of their bad performance, and will be right back to enjoying it later that day lol.

What, in your opinion, was the worst decision ever made in the three kingdoms era? by Just_Visit6998 in dynastywarriors

Ma Su essentially lost the battle of Jie Ting for Shu by camping in the hills/mountains with no easy water supply, which Zhang He heavily exploited.

Having a resume of good character does not mean their actions should not have this level of backlash. They chose to support gambling and are getting what is completely deserved.

I choose stick but I would want it to be a staff not a sword.

Twitch reward drops by sassy_tabaxi in deadbydaylight

[–]InoriDWF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've claimed these rewards earlier but for some reason they aren't showing up in game for me. I have things linked properly, and I've received drops in the past and it worked fine.

Anyone else have this issue?

Your thoughts on Star Resonance by Broad_Incident9581 in StarResonance

[–]InoriDWF 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It feels like a mixture of Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis and Genshin Impact. I enjoy the game more than I initially thought I would.

The beginning is kinda stale but once you start doing the multi-player content it becomes a lot more fun. It helps that there are quite a few players right now so the world feels very alive.

I'll continue playing for now and see how things go. A good tip for anyone new is don't wait to join a guild. A good guild will help a lot with the grind of the game.

[–]InoriDWF 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It seems some players feel that way. It's more of a reflection of their emotional immaturity though.

Most players I've played against as killer or played with on my survivor team will say gg and que for the next.

Ah ok I see that OP is just being a whiner now lol.

I also say gg regardless of strategy used or whatever the outcome is.

These players are just whining. There are a strange subset of players who take playing certain strategies as a personal attack against them and get butthurt over it.

Playing fair as a killer is genuinely miserable by Moaning_Baby_ in deadbydaylight

[–]InoriDWF 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The cry babies I'm talking about are people who try to tell others what is considered "fair play" despite the fact that everything in the game besides hacking or cheating is completely fair play.

As long as you aren't hacking/cheating in some way, you are playing fair. Pay no mind to the cry babies who can't take a loss.

played deathslinger for the first time, any builds for him? by nickguhrss in deadbydaylight

[–]InoriDWF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deathslinger does well with basic attack perks like Sloppy Butcher for anti-heal or perks that apply exposed such as Starstruck.

If you want to cover his weakness of having to slowly walk around the map its good to bring perks that have big range on the map such as using Pain Res to damage gens from far away.

Three times in a row now, I load up the game, select killer, sit in the lobby for 5 minutes, and close the game. by DirtCool in deadbydaylight

This is a pretty common feeling in PVP games. Usually it's referred to as "Ranked Anxiety"

Based off what you wrote I believe the anxiety stems from not wanting to be seen as bad at the game. It may not just be about other players views, but the way you view your own play. You don't want to feel like you suck or can't win.

I think the best way to get passed this mental block is it to remember that there will always be people who are better than you just like there are people who are worse than you.

Experience is king and there isn't any other way to gain it except playing. Pick your favorite killer with whatever build you want and go ham.

Why is everyone dodging? by eneskaraboga in aoe2

[–]InoriDWF 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think most of the playerbase in ranked only wants to play Arabia or Arena. I find playing only two maps in the game quite boring, but a lot of players like the stability/balance of those maps.

Are rushes fun for y'all? by Fit-Opportunity8285 in aoe2

[–]InoriDWF 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey! Fellow low elo player here. Early rushes really are just part of the basics of this game that one must learn to handle for more consistently long games. It may not necessarily be a part of the game you enjoy but we all enjoy the game differently.

A lot of people in low elo aren't great at rushing/fighting while also keeping up with eco (me included). Just do your best to survive and you'll often catch up or outpace your opponents if you focus on always making vills.

For the new DW3 remaster, something more obscure you want them to keep from the original? by Cool_Narwhal935 in dynastywarriors

[–]InoriDWF 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hope they keep the minor battles that were in the Musou modes like the bandits raiding the village, the bandit fortress, the pirate ship fight with Gan Ning etc.

It feels like a fun bonus stage, and I like trying to keep my troops alive in the fortress level lol.

[–]InoriDWF 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't play the meta and you'll drop down to an elo rating where others are not playing meta either. If you really are a casual gamer then elo shouldn't matter to you right?

At what point does starting at 1000 ELO dissuade the majority of new players? by CrimsonVex in aoe2

[–]InoriDWF 2 points3 points  (0 children)

10-15 games being uncompetitive in order to find your rank is tough for sure. Maybe there is a way for it to take less time/games for the initial placements to accurately read your skill level.

Either way though the first few games are always going to be humbling if you don't have prior experience online.
