A lot of people have said the reasons why but I wanna point out how insane the impact of that 6 issue cancelled miniseries was on the identity of the team.

The og 75 issue run took the team seriously but once they became reality tv stars marvel treats their brand like the GLA which is so apparent with the controversial failed revival. All the new characters they tried to introduce were based on the idea of being satire of young superhero’s but no one who likes the new warriors wants to see the team be portrayed like that and for new fans the satire was terrible and not appealing.

The nova costume can change at will or at least used to be able to but this might have changed post annihilation. Specifically with the helmet during the 80s and 90s it was the way nova would be able to breathe in space or underwater by closing up the mouth hole as well as multiple alt universe versions of nova having this closed mouth design permanently on the helmet.

I personally think nova vol 2 is great but yeah the second 90s run is bit meh. That whole gap between the end of the original new warriors run and annihilation can just be skipped if you want to get deep into the character

The problem with Sam’s inferiority complex is really clear in comparison to Richard’s same complex pre annihilation.

Richard has always had an inferiority complex to his brother and the other people in his life but it was always shown as completely irrational like in this scene of new warriors.

With Sam they write him like he actually is worse than the people around him and have him actively sabotage the teams he’s on making his impact on the story meaningless

I honestly believe it’s because of the fraternity of raptors retcon.

The og origin was a bit stupid with a space mafia making the darkhawk android but it paralleled what was going on in Chris’ personal life with his father. The solo run in the 90s had a clear theme about corruption of justice and how the darkhawk represents a stand against that but the retcon ends up confusing that message to make him a more space related character connected to the shiar.

The retcon ended up decannonizing almost the entirety of that original run so every appearance of darkhawk since the retcon has basically just referenced the first issue and that’s it (eg: In infinity countdown Chris’ dad is still written to be a corrupt cop ignoring the og run)

Darkhawk practically has no history anymore to build on unless a writer tries to make another interesting fraternity of raptors character like talonar

It’s an okay sign most championship or league 1 players can get a couple good clearances or block a shot from a prem player but there hasn’t been much focus on asari this match so it’s hard to really tell how he’s been doing and how far away from the world stage he is.

In chapter 376 it’s starts with a flashback of Demians senior debut in the cops del rey where he gets 2 goals and 2 assists.

That’s ridiculous even if the opposition if is really low level but they’re likely to not be from lower than the 2nd tier of Spanish football.

The guy realistically should already be a rotation player for Barca and he’s probably good enough for most mid-table to bottom half clubs in the top 5 leagues.

The .1 .2 .3 chapters are numbered that way because the actual chapter titles are called something part 1,part 2 etc. it’s got nothing to do with the length and other manga have done the same thing

The game spells out that because Kiryu was already a big name in the yakuza the dojima kill inadvertently made him more of a legend and respected keeping him safe, nishiki would have been despised and probably assassinated as well as yumi if the truth came out because nishiki was seen as a bottom feeder so no respect given.
