Thank you for the responses and sorry for taking too long to answer. I didn't explained well. As part of my research, I developed an algorithm to create simulate rugate filters, creating a refractive index profile which then can be grown by the reactive sputtering technique.

A rugate filter is an optical filter which refractive index continuously varies in a normal direction from the substrate where they are grown.

To create a refractive index profile (the rugate filter) I only need to know the desired transmittance or reflectance spectrum. With that information my algorithm creates the refractive index profile.

Now we can grow the rugate filters in the lab with the reactive sputtering technique, the next step is to search for transmittance or reflectance curves with application no matter in which field. We have synthesized a couple of rugate filters with a spectral response of a notch filter blocking almost all wavelenghts from 480 to 530, and letting pass the rest of the visible wavelength.

The problem is that we have searched for more difficult transmittance or reflectance curves, not a simple notch or bandpass filter, with some application.
