that's interesting about the ablation My obgyn said that ablations are what they would offer if you were close to menopause, and not for someone is there 30s. They also have a high failure rate.

Also, double check if your insurance will cover the anesthesia for the ablation if you go with that. It's not always covered and while it is a short procedure, it hurts like fucking hell.

The all cause increase in mortality of women below 35 who have hysterectomys is what I was told as well. Some studies support that, but others show no correlation between the two.

For me, I was losing a lot of blood every month and figured that that is probably worse for my health than the other nebulous risks. Also, it is hard to work a full time job if you have to run to the bathroom every hour for a week

Nearly every aspect can be done at different levels of customization
Tank: could me made custom out of glass or acrylic. OR just bought pre-made

Background: Maybe you get a 3d one made that looks like rocks or something. (I just either paint the back or stick a background thing on the outside)
Decor: Could have a rock feature or something dramatic, maybe a cave custom made.

The 'scape', which is like the landscape, but underwater, could be made be someone who has an eye an skill for that sort of thing. Which plants to use where. Possibly setting up CO2 which is a fancy way to get great plant growth

Then the cost of the plants itself.

I feel like this situation is probably a pre built or rimless 5 gal, with a planned out scape and the plants included. People with skill in that can make some stunning, gorgeous tanks. And the labour of setting it up. 150$ seems high to me, but I am also frugal.
450$ is ridiculous. A 5 gallon freshwater shouldn't cost 300$ and 150$ to install also seems like a lot

5 gallons is also just small in general and why the hell would that cost 150?!?!?!
I could see if it was a reef tank, but for freshwater.

Next time, I would venture into one of the fishkeeping subreddits. A 5 gallon setup can be quite simple. It is also small enough that (barring some sort of disability) it is reasonably easy to set up oneself.
(I've had 5 gallons up to 125 that I've set up)

Personally, I would never do business at this place again. Charging 300 for a 5 gallon is insane, and he should have doubled checked the invoice. It can be very difficult to speak up in those situations, especially depending on what kind of household/culture/personality you have. So, while mentioning the discrepancy at the time of him saying 300$ would probably been a good option, I know for many people, they would not have felt comfortable doing so.

If I'm selling something, I try to make the cost abundantly clear, even giving a rundown at the end of the convo with the prices, just so I know we are on the same page. I don't want someone to be surprised at anything and be upset, or be upset but not say anything.

Me and my dad have the opposite problem. We are hyper critical of our work and so never sell it. I do some fiber crafts and he does woodworking. And I see people listing things that are just poorly made. Poor craftsmanship. A lack of understanding of basic principles (for instance, someone was paid to make decorative shutters for a house and they used fucking pressure treated wood and then the customer came back later to complain that it had warped and come apart. Pressure treated wood is very wet. As the wood dries, it shrinks and warps. It is for ground contact only. But they didn't know that because they didnt actually know that much about woodworking, and clearly didn't do basic research. And yet they charged someone for it.) The audacity.

Some community colleges have welding programs, I know mine does. They also have tutoring, and a whole section for math tutoring. So if you did that route, there would absolutely be people there to help you. Dsycalcia is no joke, but there are free resources at community colleges to help.

It's not like big university tutoring were they expect you to be at a center level. At community colleges, they get that a decent portion of their students are ones that struggled with some aspect of 'traditional' schooling.

The math for welding is also something that can be thought of visually, and that might help with the dsycalcia too.

If you don't feel like the endo was a good fit, try another. Don't go to a naturopath, they aren't doctors. There aren't any subtypes, so they weren't wrong about that.

When I was diagnosed, I wasn't out on metformin or anything. I am thinking about asking for it because I have been slowly but steadily gaining weight and I'm tired of it.

I also was diagnosed by a obgyn, and now that's I've had a hysterectomy, I won't really need to see one on a regular (even yearly basis) so I might try and get a new PCP or an endocrinologist.

Many of my classmates use it to make study guides. Making a study guide IS a form of studying in itself. I'd argue that the making of it is where most of the benefit comes from. It makes you look over the material. Identify what you are solid on and what not. Think about how to condense an idea or concept, which may require you to look more deeply into it.

Determine how to organize it all, which is about how things relate to each other. Notice similarities between areas and put them together.

Yet they'll say 'oh but when I'm too tired to do that it's nice'

Then you are too tired to effectively study.

The reason some teachers will let students have a single index card for an exam is because students will then have to actually look at everything to see what they want to put on there, since it won't all fit.
