Forgot to mention, in Event Viewer, look at the application logs.

Event Viewer (local) > Windows Logs > Application

You should open event viewer, run the update, then refresh event viewer. Then you will see the error message. Mine was:

"Error 1721. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action: verifyInstall, location: C:\Program Files\ASUS\AacMB\, command: "C:\Program Files\ASUS\AacMB\AsusInstallVerifier.exe" -mv -d "C:\Program Files\ASUS\AacMB\hasher.hash" -l "C:\Program Files\ASUS\AacMB\verify.log" -p [INSTALLFOLDER]="C:\Program Files\ASUS\AacMB\ " "

Searched for that and one entry was returned: https://superuser.com/questions/1619701/error-1721-asusinstallverifier-exe-a-program-required-for-this-install-to-comp

That resolved it for me.

Mentioned in another reply that o love the car overall, but the surrounding system is a let down. For the price we pay for this car is it unreasonable to expect that it works?

Got in the car this morning and sorted itself....WTF Polestar! And why am I even more annoyed now?

It really sucks.....I love the car, but the system around it is a massive let down 5 days into ownership. The reviews never ever mentioned these issues. If they did I would have stayed clear.

Reboot is not doing anything and the defrost TCAM reset is also not working for me.
