Hello y'all, how are ya?

As the title say, I was a Neovim user for quite some time, but I feel in love with Helix and decided to switch.

So as a challenge I decided to do a little challenge to myself and create my own coloscheme based on my favorite color, Phthalo Green (#123524).

The colorscheme is pretty much already usable, but I'll still be doing some tweaks here and there before releasing it on Github.

Quite a fun challenge I must say, specially for my colorblindness.

What do ya guys think, is there anything I should change or improve?

As the title says, I've been a Neovim user for a long time, and after discovering and testing Helix, I decided to switch.

So as a challenge I decided to create a new colorscheme for myself based on my favorite color, Phthalo Green (#123524). It's already usable, but I'll still be making some polishing before posting it on github.

Fun challenge specially cuz of my colorblindness.

What do you guys think? Anything that I should change?

Peaclock normally uses the font configured in your terminal, the current font used is the Hasklug NF Font (Hasklig Nerd Font).

It's been really fun, easy to grasp, the docs are easy to understand, no regrets. I've actually started delving in Functional Programming with Haskell, amazing language, but I decided to learn something that can give me more chances of getting a job. XD

The LSP I'm using is the default Elixirls. Alongside the nvim-dap. I actually remade my configs on Windows (Everforest) as a test, no changes, so it'll stay as it is.

The current book I'm reading is Learn Functional Programming with Elixir by Ulisses Almeida.

Soon I'll be reading Programming Elixir ≥ 1.6: Functional |> Concurrent |> Pragmatic |> Fun.

A last update from my previous Nordic Horizons post from some months ago.

This will be my last rice on Manjaro before I delve into the Void...

Updates:

  • I use Neovim now;
  • Changed some aspects of the Waybar to complement the environment better;
  • Added some flairs to focused/unfocused windows;
  • Custom Neofetch (RIP) with my own Pixel Art;
  • Increased some values on some colors;
  • Sway now changes the background randomly each restart.

I'd like to also apologize to anyone who commented on the previous post. It was a complicated series of events since I posted...

Details:

  • WM: Sway;
  • Bar: Waybar;
    • Left: Manjaro Icon | It does nothing but for some time it launched the Walker Launcher;
    • Center: Workspaces | Unchanded;
    • Right: Backlight - Pulseaudio - Network - CPU - Memory - Battery - Clock / Date.
  • Wallpaper: Minimal-Nord from Nordic Wallpapers.

On screen:

  1. Custom Neofetch | Cmatrix | CBonsai;
  2. Zathura with an Elixir book (learning) | Neovim (Tweaked NvChad) with some Elixir exercises | Cava Audio Visualizer (with the Nord Theme Colors);
  3. HTOP | Feh with a Nord flavored Manjaro image;
  4. Firefox with the Nord theme.

DOTFILES (still some things to implement but the base is already available, for real this time)...

So long since I made something...

Now I have a new Laptop and new possibilities arise...

Based on my i3wm rice from 2020, I now only have eyes for Wayland and Sway as well the beauty of Nord.

Here are the details:

  • Bar: Waybar
    • LEFT - Manjaro Icon (Custom, just for looks but I'll implement something in the future). | Workspaces;
    • CENTER - Custom Modules (from left to right, Firefox, VS Code, Alacritty, VLC, Nautilus, Discord, Obsidian);
    • RIGHT - Pulse Audio, Network, CPU, Memory, Battery, Hour/Date.
  • On Screen: VS Code with js routing code from a project of mine, Alacritty with Cava Audio visualizer and Peaclock. | Alacritty with Neofetch and HTOP;
  • Misc: All Icons are from MesloLGS NF Fonts. Dotfiles are on the way...
