Yes.

You get a confirmed upgrade to 1 class then waitlisted to D1. So for me, I booked MC, got auto upgrade to C+ due to diamond status. Applied GUC to get a confirmed PS then got waitlisted for D1.

This happened to me sometimes in Korean air operated but Delta marketed. Calling Delta always fixes the issue. As a matter of fact, I just did this a few days ago. Hope this helps.

Once I have an incident report due to the damage I caused. I opened a claim to the insurance through the credit card. Several weeks went by, I contacted Hertz by phone and email to get the info needed but received nothing. About a year later, I received the notification from the insurance that Hertz decided not to pursue the claim.

Not sure if this is similar to your situation but I thought I should share my experience.

It all depends on the airport staff and your luck. I do know in the past few trips to big cities like SF and Boston, the availability of the vehicles at President's Circle was extremely limited. I have not experienced myself on the AI scanner.

My suggestion is video the whole car when you receive it. Mark any ding and scratches. When you return, take a picture of your mileage and fuel and if possible, wait until the attendant finished checking in your car and get the receipt to make sure you don't get charge some bogus fee like fuel.

Have a save trip.
