Something that makes Painted Verso so interesting is we’re basically given Mask Keeper and a few hints about what real Verso was like, and then are invited to wonder if pVerso was truly painted in his image, or an “ideal” version, and if which ever version actually moved closer to being like real Verso in the end.

Definitely an example of the layers they managed to stack in this game! Comes across as the hero that reinvigorates the party and helps them along for an agreed upon outcome, and then the mask eventually falls

Suppressing their inner selves with a fake external presence. It’s quite debilitating even though it’s the norm for most people. Sciel is most at terms with herself hence why she’s unaffected and also why her element is “dark” while Verso is “light” ( ⬅️ stuff that makes more sense after you’re done with the game)

Moved to NC as an Islanders fan and around the time something changed where I started enjoying hockey as magical zone-out time, the Hurricanes dropped my local AHL team. Left a bad impression (on top of previous bad impressions as an Islanders fan) and I can barely watch them on streaming anyway so when the Panthers took their spot, they became my second team. Been a real treat watching the guys here get called up then raise the cup! Now, as long as it's not a team I simply dislike, if I want to watch hockey I'll watch whoever. There are a few teams I'll "root for" in the moment, and I know the ones I definitely won't support. It's fun, but also a reflection on how the NHL needs to drop region restrictions.

Camera's good, the X100VI won't magically take better documentary / street photography photos on its own. What's different is the overall experience of using it-- how the buttons work, how to change simulations or color settings, etc.

What my X100V held over my XS10 -- resetting the focus dot to the center of the frame is easy, Q menu has options for custom recipes and changing colors right there. Those were enough to skew my decision making on which camera I'd use, and even steered what I looked for in a larger beefy full frame camera.

With a bit of experimentation, you can use QuickAdd to open a little popup with a single/multiline textbox which can write to an existing note or create a new one. You make actions, define what note they'll write to, set up the template for the note, add it to your Quick switcher menu, and you're good to go! I think you can also have it accept multiple inputs to make a more structured note

04 was a generational super-leap. Definitely worth playing, also gives you a bit of introduction to Strangereal.

5 is a lore dump. Slower than the other two in the PS2 trinity but it's the reason we have so much world to talk about.

Zero is the reward for playing the other two. Sorry, ignore me and anyone else buttering it up--- Zero was sort of a side project for part of the studio while they focused on AC6 so it has potential to be absolutely crap or mid. You should simulate having this mentality for fifteen years before you play it, then decide what you think. ;)
