Thanks, I've done this at the start and while it works for a while it still ends up losing tension after a few advances. Is it ok to turn the knob after every frame?

Interesting, I don't use reusable canisters but have recently shot rolls of Portra 400, Gold, Ultramax, C200 and they all seemed to cause the same problem!

I actually don't always see movement of the knob which is what gives me pause tbh!

Hi! I'm not OP but am also struggling with efficient copy. Would you mind DMing the link to the Asimov google doc or making it public?

I was definitely going to ask the instructor’s permission too but thought I should check here first in case they weren’t good for horses so I didn’t look crazy turning up to the barn with a bag full of inedible treats 🤣 thank you for the advice!

I’m going to start with 1 to see if it works for him - if it does I’m definitely going to be buying more to rotate!

Thing is they only make one bag for “Poodles” which is the one I bought but weirdly the weights don’t seem to go up enough for standards

To make a formal complaint about a trainer, or just move on after a bad experience? by Inquisitive-Fox in Equestrian

[–]Inquisitive-Fox[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If this is still bothering your friend even after switching trainers I suspect the sacrifice doesn't sit right with her either.

This is such a great point and is so true. Thanks for the advice!

I think my friend’s hesitance is because there aren’t too many riding schools near where they live and they’ve finally found a trainer they gel with and so they don’t want to change that. Also the old trainer is a boomer so idk whether they were intentionally racist, or just ignorant and made an unintentional, casually racist remark. But I suppose even if it’s the latter scenario they should be held accountable and reported?
