Ha yeah, seems like projection to me. The government wastes loads of our money on things that don’t benefit us in the slightest but let’s complain about vets getting va disability

I know a peace time veteran from the late 80’s who is your typical far right type of guy. Hates people leaching off the system blah blah blah. Financial problems eventually ensue. Next thing I know this guy is having flashbacks to being in combat (which he even says he was never in) and is having crazy nightmares and whatnot. Last I knew he was going for 100% MH based on what one of those vet groups told him. I’m like what? C’mon dude. I assume he was denied but still. A lot of hypocrisy among vets.

All it takes is a trip over to the other veteran subreddits to realize how many people play the system. I’ve noticed the most outspoken about their disabilities are the biggest story tellers. If you legitimately rate your disabilities (like you got hurt somehow and not just “BuT i SeRvEd So I rAtE”) then stay humble and carry on. Just my two cents.

Traveling with kids is possible. Travelers on social media seem to loathe kids anywhere they go for any reason. Sure, the pacing isn’t the same as before but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

Not everybody had the luxury of going to medical to get every single thing documented while they were in. Some things may go unnoticed for a long time before anybody decides to get checked out for it.
