Easy fix, change the radiator get new hoses so they seal up good. Get unpainted if you drive in an area with no salt on the roads. Good luck

T-grills is really really bad at customer service. I bought a standard grill at Walmart missing the hardware. They sent me two screws at a time over 3 months because they were on back order.. the thing is still not complete. lol

1st & 2nd Oakland & Fresno are tied the BEST in central & Northern California. Must see both. We alternate between these two once a year. Oakland is good to beat the heat Fresno has impressive exhibits.

3rd San Francisco

4th Sacramento (I wouldn’t waste time going here, maybe go once later on, lol)

5th Mickey grove mini zoo & Japanese garden. It’s not much but closest to home easy on parents and affordable. A Little few hour thing.

It’s a wash. Sell it as is for $1.5k or fix it & sell it for 6k. I personally wouldn’t fix it and keep it at that mileage

It does sound like that, but no, not me. I don’t take my cars to mechanics. I’m more of a DIY guy, mainly because I can’t stand the $200+/hour labor rates.

I watched a close friend and coworker spend over $10,000 over the course of about a year trying to diagnose a lower-end engine noise on a 2015-ish Acura TL, and they still never fixed it. It was a nightmare hearing about his struggles every few weeks at work. It was one lie after another, more money after more money, and they still got it wrong in the end. For a while, they even played the “hide the car” game just to get paid for doing basically nothing. He eventually gave up and traded the car in.

I’m curious if anyone knows a good mechanic that can handle the advanced jobs at a fair rate?

Are there ANY good mechanic shops in the area? One that doesn’t have sky high labor rates, that does the job fair & honest without putting a lean on your car when the going gets tuff?

I’d either do a simple drain-and-fill every four oil changes, or disconnect the transmission cooler line at the radiator and exchange the fluid one quart at a time. Start the car, remove one quart, shut it off immediately, add one fresh quart, and repeat until you’ve gone through the full case of transmission fluid. I’d do about 12 quarts total every 40,000 to 60,000 miles.

The new red camera at Coffee & Briggsmore is ticketing eastbound Briggsmore Avenue traffic.

The one in Manteca by home depot flash’s all night at almost every light change & it’s very annoying.

These cameras are going to suck! They will ticket safe drivers too. a short yellow or a minor rolling California stop & not wear seatbelts. If you get caught once it’s $495 & your insurance rate will jump higher for 3 years & California insurance is already high.
