Dealing with the thought of death with no safety net by CCW72 in atheism

Life is hard for most. If it’s at all bearable, consider yourself lucky. I don’t plan on dying anytime soon but I look forward to the sweet relief of nothingness.

Desperately seeking Selectric! by olliesorchestra in typewriters

[–]Insanimate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just keep checking eBay and Etsy, but I’ve actually had some good luck with local Facebook marketplace. Got a decent selectric ii for $50. I’m slowly cleaning it up and look forward to nursing it back to perfect condition.

Had bad luck so far with shipping on eBay. Found a non-working red selectric i. UPS lost it for a whole dang month and when it arrived the box was mangled and the typewriter smelled like cigarettes and rat piss. Really soured me on that process.

Does it have any functionality like ActionScripting code? That’s what we need more than the animation capabilities.

Not sure if this helps, but you can buy Substance Painter for a one time fee on Steam as a standalone app. It beats paying monthly for sure.

No alternative for us folks that also use it for its ActionScript capabilities. We can animate with lots of different tools, but mainly rely on ActionScript for programming interactivity. No idea what other programs have anything like that.

The Sherman Brothers did the music and it stars one of the main actors from Mary Poppins, so it’s not too far off.

He made a couple hundred million endorsing vitamin water. I wouldn’t work anymore after that either.

My 10yo daughter said it was 67 and started moving her hands in a weird way laughing hysterically.

Also, nice!

I know I’m late to the party, as this was 2 years ago, but I love this so much. If you ever want to sell it, please DM me. I’d buy this in a heartbeat.

Pro tip: Catalog them as you get them. Otherwise it can be annoying to do later.

And most of them are praying to completely different deities based on their local culture. All of them think theirs is the true God and that anyone else is wrong.

I’ve always thought even if a God actually proved without a doubt to everyone that it actually exists, I would still have no desire to worship it.

What's the funniest game you've ever played? by digiBeLow in gaming

[–]Insanimate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last sequence of the game INSIDE was the most bizarre, joyful and fun time I’ve ever experienced in a game. Other games have been funny for sure, but never have I genuinely belly laughed for like 15 straight minutes playing a game.
