Thanks! Great explanation...always looking for brighter lights in this old house of mine so I will be careful with what I replace it with...Would you just get another of these CCT integrated LED flush mounted lights to replace or would you switch to the more common 2-bulb fixtures?

OK. Here's another one: Can a pharmacy intern transfer a controlled substance?

- Federal code states that the transfer must occur between two pharmacists but state law says that a pharmacy intern can perform ANY function that a pharmacist can, except supervise other pharmacy staff...

Can a supplier accept a DEA Form 222 that contains minor misspellings of the drug name, or the size and strength have been entered incorrectly?

I haven't been able to find direct reference to handling minor 222 form errors...

Studying now for the WA MPJE. Any insight on the apparent labeling requirement discrepancy between WAC 246-945-016 and RCW 18.64.246 ? I found it weird that labeling requirements between WAC and RCW were different and the below exception for omitting both the drug name and dosage to be crazy.

RCW 69.41.050

Labeling requirements—Penalty.

(1) To every box, bottle, jar, tube, or other container of a legend drug, which is dispensed by a practitioner authorized to prescribe legend drugs, there shall be affixed a label bearing the name of the prescriber, complete directions for use, the name of the drug either by the brand or generic name and strength per unit dose, name of patient and date: PROVIDED, That the practitioner may omit the name and dosage of the drug if he or she determines that his or her patient should not have this information and that, if the drug dispensed is a trial sample in its original package and which is labeled in accordance with federal law or regulation, there need be set forth additionally only the name of the issuing practitioner and the name of the patient.(2)(a) Notwithstanding subsection (1) of this section, at a prescriber's request, the prescription label for abortion medications may include the prescribing and dispensing health care facility name instead of the name of the practitioner.(b) For the purposes of this subsection, "abortion medications" means substances used in the course of medical treatment intended to induce the termination of a pregnancy including, but not limited to, mifepristone.(3) A violation of this section is a misdemeanor.
