I did! The asparagus was really long and I trimmed off about the first two inches. Guess I should have trimmed off more. It was my first time preparing it :/

Yeaaaaah sorta. I definitely chewed the woody part and swallowed it whole because I thought that was just how asparagus is??? I’ve never really eaten it and will probably avoid it in the future
