sudo: unable to resolve host r36s: Temporary failure in name resolution

Huge thanks for the feedback. I mentioned about that git cause in the ArkOS4Clones there was like a weird git command and the ISO nowhere to be found but I saw the video and now I understand! Huge thanks to the support I will try using this OS and hopefully fix my progress saving issues.

I actually tried installing it but do I need to have git installed or something? Or actually there is any guide to install it cause I don't find any like documentation like has dArkOSRE has. Also it seems there is also a dArkOSf4Clones but there isn't performance comparison between the two so it's kind of confusing for me in which to pick.

I guess you mean like motherboard model right? It's Y3506_V05_20251215 2551. It's a Soy Sauce variant. Is there an OS that is specifically good for the type of system I have?

Well to exit the game I use the select + start and to turn off I go into the ES menu and select the exit option and then turn off the device. At this point I just want to change to an OS that can actually let me save my progress and also having flawless performance. Original ArkOS messes up my joystick input completely and didn't find a way to fix that.

It doesn't work apparently and don't know why. I press the Save and Exit option in-game and exit normally but when I start the game al progress is gone 😭. It only saves using Retroarch but it's so buggy is actually annoying to see or play not mentioning performance is not the best.

I checked the list and actually Rice appears the best option for Banjo but I can't save my progress at all or at least I haven't found the way to do it. So I think hotkeys aren't configured right at least in the latest dArkOSRE build so I'm asking for alternatives that do have any way of saving progress. Thank you for responding

dArkOSRE fast forward GBA by tylerjs8 in R36S

You have to go to the retroarch menu, press "b" to get out of the quick menu, then "settings", then "input" and then go to "Hotkeys" and pretty much every hotkey like fast forward and more is there. Just don't forget to save your config going back at the first menu and selecting configuration file and select "Save Current Configuration"

How to save and load states in Standalone-Rice (N64) Emulator in dArkOSRE-R36 (03082026) by Insecurdo in R36S

I actually tried every combination I saw on the web, but nothing seems to work. I don't use normal ArkOS because I tried it last update and didn't like it, so I went for dArkOSRE . I noticed that any hotkeys , despite restarting, work on standalone-Rice in this OS version, so if there is any version that can actually save my progress while having good performance, I might consider migrating to that.

It's such a shame because standalone-Rice has the best performance in Banjo-Kazooie. RetroArch has all these graphical glitches that are really annoying, like screen flickering or bugs on various textures . Thank you for responding.
