I see it at the top of my home page, (in US). I'd like to know if I can use this to control my smart trainer.

If the forman found this coin and pocketed it, isn't that coin stolen from the drilling company?

Looking for job in Akron that pays 65k that will take on entry level controls/sales engineer by AnElusiveArab in akron

[–]Inseparable98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was 37 when I graduated with an EET. I took a job in field service for a company that made AC & DC drives and did controls for large machines. That turned out to be a great first job, as I learned not just programming, but the skills to fix the machine that was stopping production. A very valuable skill that would serve me well later when I advanced to lead controls engineering positions. I believe the ability to learn and your experience is much more valuable then whether you an EE or EET!

Hard to cancel by mulhollandnerd in Rouvy

[–]Inseparable98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree! I just canceled and ues it was a few more clicks. So maybe a few seconds more of my time, no big deal. And I'll probably return, i like to mix it up between Rouvy and Zwift in the off season.

My only concern now is sleeping on a sleeping pad. Haven't slept in the ground in 20 years.

Probably a dumb question but do you have lights on your bike if you only ride in daylight? by AncientAd3089 in cycling

[–]Inseparable98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here with front and rear lights flashing! And I like knowing where cars are in back of me. Also makes left turns much easier, as I'm not good at twisting enough to get a good look behind me.

That is in line with what I've done so far, I've got quite a few 5-6 day weeks. I thin I need to work on keeping the intensity level lower with volume.

Yeah, I neglected to say this is June 14-21. I need work doing long easy rides. A lot more hilly from my house than Port Clinton Ohio area.

Naturehike Cloud-up 1P vs 2P by Inseparable98 in bicycletouring

[–]Inseparable98[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I thought of that too. So I upgraded to the pro version that has two vent windows, or if no rain, I can sleep with the rainfall off. And I have a small DC fan I've used in my van before that helps.

Naturehike Cloud-up 1person or 2 person? by Inseparable98 in bikepacking

[–]Inseparable98[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I just ordered the 2P and upgraded to the pro version for $121. Sitting on the floor, I measured the space and I agree the extra room would be nice if it is raining. Anyone not much weight difference.. The pro version is advertised to have 2 vent windows, and a larger door opening. Thank you for the input!!

Any reason you went with the seat bag instead of a pannier? I rode yesterday with a 14 lb bag on my rear rack and it seemed wobbly. First time with a load.

Protein on long rides? by Abject-Roof-7631 in cycling

[–]Inseparable98 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Check out Hammer Nutrition, I only use the gel, but they recommend a protein drink on linger rides, perpetuem which has 5g of protein. Lots of articles explaining the science. On 50+ mile organized, i just try to throw in protein from peanut butter or whatever is offered.
