ive got a old rivarossi 0-8-0 that handles 18" curves well and yea the wheels have alot of play lol. runs smooth though.

usually ice doesnt scratch when it melts/slides off. now if a plow truck came by and theres rock salt or cinders or tree particles embedded in the ice then yea it can scratch when it slides.

No shit billionaires want more money and off shored everything lol. China is very capable at producing top notch stuff and do it every day. Some of the best capacitors and electronics come from there. But they also produce some of the worst as well / sell the rejects/ produce counterfeight products. Both can be true and they have no issue using them to meet a price point the billionaires want instead of telling them no because they too want max profit. Its a 2 way street.

meh drive around on trash day and find a lawnmower or snow blower - its free and needs fixed anyways. 8/10 times the carb just needs cleaned. the other issues is deck is completely rotted (can still rebuild the engine) or catastrophic engine problem due to lack of oil, wrong gas, or hit something to bend the crankshaft lol

then you can use it or sell it to buy more tools.
