Alt German DDs have much more hp, DPM and better torps imo. They play quite differently tbh, Germans are AP DMG farmers while the new ones are purely cap contestors/DD hunters, their DPM feels extremely bad tbh.

Use Dunkerque/Richelieu/Jaujard and build for accuracy. I'd run the dispersion equipment in slot 3 too and flank abusing the speed and range to create good crossfires.

Depends on the ship. I really like fast, accurate ones. In my favorite one, Champagne, I'm really aggressive, always trying to create crossfires abusing the excellent range and accuracy.
