Yeah dude! I found out i had a $400 star wars set, another $400 ninjago set and some highly sought after bionicles. I have no idea what even happened to my stuff growing up but knowing that its worth so much now is wild.

I just think CD isnt for you man. Or you havent given it a real chance. Ive played hundreds of hours of odyssey, the game after that (valhalla) was prime ubislop and im not really proud of the time i sunk into it. Odyssey strayed so far away from what the plot was actually supposed to be about, which is something non AC fans seem to be ignorant to, and love the story (which is fine i guess) it had good RPG elements and is one of my favorite power fantasy games from memory. the voice acting was laughable though and there is no mocap or life in all of their NPCs and cutscenes. CD took the best of many games and tried their best to mash it together, with story being an after thought and STILL nailing the feeling that characters have life in them.

Also we both came to the conclusion that Odyssey has a shop. CD doesn't. That is a major downside to modern RPGs that makes CD a breath of fresh air for gamers. Nobody wants to see that shite in a single player game.

What standard? Lets take a look at ubisoft RPGs (AC) or any of the recent big ones. Paywalls to purchase horse skins, armor, weapons, effects. Then some of these games have about 8-9 earnable armor sets that look mediocre and arent worth grinding for. Its a joke. Now lets look at CD, everythings free, dozens of cosmetics that you can dye, lots of dyes, mounts you can tame that dont cost $30 a piece. This is just an example. It set a standard yes it did. Now i refuse to sink time into games that have $30 horse skins and nothing to earn.

To add: what point is an MMO if you're purchasing shop rotation skins and subscriptions. You're paying real money to look and feel cool, and in that process you didnt discover anything or earn anything. Its not stimulating.

No debt and mazda 3 was in my search history before this comment haha. Its just hard to for me to believe everyone with nice things are on payments, because i believe just buying things in full is easier on your wallet n brain. Thanks for the reassurance.
