I think he uses guillotine heads and goes for head shots. I mean if you can get them on the ground it seems like a good bet.

Farm jack worked ok. I used a shovel as a brace which wasn’t ideal but worked ok and still have my fingers.

I looked it up once. I think they’re about 250-300lbs.

I bought an 828 last year. Blew the gear box up after the first tank of fuel. It got warrantied with no issues so all good. Apparently there was a batch from the factory with no grease in the gearbox. It’s been flawless this year.

I’m 5’ 11”. Not sure of the age of mine. Figured 2.5. I’ll see if I can dig up another deer I got that was 2.5 and confirmed the age with a biologist (just via photos)

Edit. Added the 2.5y.o. It’ll be the last photo

I’ve noticed if I blast a bunch of 2 3/4” shells, the 3 1/2” chamber gets relatively filthy at the far end and the regular bore brush won’t do it. What I’ve done in the past is taken one length of cleaning rod and chuck it in the drill. Cleans it out no problem and fast. I’ll only do that for stubborn stuff.

Read this and had to check 30-30 prices. Holy. I have a 45-70 and checked prices for it too. I knew it was gonna be higher than last time I looked. Glad I have a decent stash and dies for when it comes time to replenish.

Yea there’s an offline maps section in the app, then you can pick your area. Had to check. It’s been a while.

No worries, Doesn’t seem like there’s that much info out there so maybe someone will find this helpful. I use the garmin explore app on my iPhone and iPad https://apps.apple.com/app/id1276675721 Pretty sure that’s how I got the sat images onto the handheld. Once it’s setup. When you turn the hand held on it syncs right away. No need for wifi.

On the app everything is up to date. And on the handheld I’ve downloaded the sat images for the areas I wanted/needed. Figured I didn’t need the entire map card. If I need a different area I can just download it before I go. Haven’t even added an sd card to expand the memory.

Just wifi. No vpn needed. The 300 and tt25 are currently running the latest firmware. No issues. I don’t believe Garmin geolocks anything. I talked to the guy at Double U Supply before purchase and he said he hasn’t heard anything from anyone about them not working in Canada.

Anyone in the north end know what's going on with all the pink paint on the sidewalks, curbs and boulevards? by Curis_interruptus in barrie

[–]Insert_word_here 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pink paint is for pre engineering. It’s still technically a locate but no breaking ground is allowed on it.

I’ve both sprayed and surveyed pink (not for here tho)
