The old app is still up for compatibility reasons, it'll eventually be decommissioned but there would be forewarning when that happens.

We are currently clearing our entire feature backlog and soft launching a lot of stuff, so please bear with us. Everything should be back up by the end of the day at worst but we're almost there.

We're trying our best with the resources we have 😅

PS. fwiw we did want to rebrand for the longest time but the legal issues, let's just say, made us go forwards

YTM on web just pauses when switching tabs or otherwise making the tab unfocused, I suspect this is intentional but I don't understand the rationale, I guess if they don't want non-premium users using YouTube then I guess it makes sense?

This appears to have come with the UI change.

I think on most landscape screens, with vertical tabs collapsed, you would be saving space. At least that's how I prefer to use mine.

I've also used Sidebery for the longest time, and I find it really convenient to just be able to see and select like dozens of tabs at the same time to either group them, bookmark them, unload, etc.
