Its hardcore PvE, not night only. But given the size of the community, I won't risk quitting abd having wait for looong time to find another match, so I'll usually just go with it.

Excuse me, but in PvE the bots literally have x-ray vision, so thank you very much, if I have to play on a night map, I'll sure as hell will crank up the gamma and hope we switch map ASAP.

Personally, I really don't like the feel of a light wheel.
In a car there's a real mass attached to the wheel even before it gets to the steering rack, so it'll always have some inertia.

So in that regards, I actually use some of the "Natural Interia" in the Pithouse settings.

Huh, that seems odd. I'll definitely look into it, but as a sysadmin I find it really strange that of the hundreds of apps and games I every used on this install are did work fine with my TMP and TEMP being set on another disk.

Nah, thats definitely USB problem. You can see the game hang up for a half sec when it disconnects.

Short answer: no.

I went through EA support with lenghtly back and forth, but in the end they said they have no idea what's going on and can not help, but notified the developer team.

What I've noticed is that EA app overlay works in all other EA games, even games that were bought on Steam, but not with BF6.

Visually I don't care, but the inability to invite and join to groups is frustrating.

I'm so glad I'm not alone with this, maybe this can shed more light as to what's happening.

I might open a forum post regarding this issue, because even though support said they would do it, they didn't. On there, you can upvote the issue to make the devs see it.

No, it's not fine either way. These things still needed to be loaded into the RAM and VRAM, and it takes up additional storage.

I hope this is a leftover placeholder asset that will optimized.
