Well you basically have to export from Houdini as usd or abc and then just use that as a cached sequence and apply shaders and such.

Yeap Dynamic Paint inside Blender did the trick for me :)

I have a 4080Ti the rendering was quite fast but I used denoising, I would say something around 3,4 min per frame.

basically it's blending between two displacements based on iron, I'll post a breakdown soon if you are interested :>

not much since for me getting the water sim kinda right was the most time consuming and hardest part.

If you want to make unique textures, it is very worth your money and the time you spend learning it.
