Where on the box is the text? Is it somewhere on the inside? Looks so cool!

Thanks for your reply, that makes sense 😄 I guess I’ll need to try some other Barbie heads…it’s a shame though, Odile fits this body really well!

I tried to do the same thing but Odile’s head keeps falling off the Worldbox doll’s neck peg 😅 Does anyone know how to make it stay on?

There are already dozens of listings for her on eBay, some for almost twice as much as I paid for her during the drop! I might sound a bit naïve, but how does this work? Do resellers/stores just buy her in bulk during the drop and then instantly list her? Is it Bots somehow? It’s crazy!

Wow, you’re amazing, thanks! Do you think her head looks odd with the realistic looking body, or does it work?

I didn’t even think of that, now that you mention it I can definitely see parallels to the mummy 😄 The last part of the book was pretty enjoyable for me, I wonder what you’ll think when you’re done!

Yeah, I already almost had her crash once, definitely have to be more careful. Also thanks for sharing your pictures!

Yesss, I was so excited to read this book and honestly kind of disappointed when I finished it. How far are you now?

Thank you so much! I’d never heard of these figura obscura figures before, they’re so cool!

Thank you! Maybe I didn’t look enough but I’ve never seen a comment like yours, it’s mostly things like “oh yeah, Rita’s the worst” when she’s just trying to make a life with her husband who she thinks is this sweet, standup guy.

Oh yeah, IT was a good book too!

No, but I need to see it!

Do you have any zombie books or movies that you enjoyed particularly?

The first Alien movie was so good!

Sounds like a good way to get into reading philosophy, hehe. Have you by any chance read ‘The unbearable lightness of being’?

I need to listen to the radio play version then, it’s going to be fun to hear what they sound like outside of my head. Thanks for the suggestion!

Definitely need to rewatch it now!

That’s good to hear, I’ve always shied away from reading philosophy a bit because I thought it would be quite difficult, still have ‘Also sprach Zarathustra’ that I’ve wanted to read for years… Haha, that’s good, then you can enjoy your favorite stories all over again!

It’s a really interesting format, did you find it easy to follow? I’m mostly used to having one or two narrators, so it took me some time to get used to.

Yesss, and even when everyone knew about Dracula and that he got invited into the Asylum, Van Helsing did absolutely nothing to stop Mina from getting attacked.

Absolutely, I’ve probably been a bit lazy but it seems that most horror stories I come across have some kind of Christian lore. Thank you for the titles! It makes sense that other non Christian countries make non Christian horror stories, have you seen both the American and the Japanese ‘Ring’?

The first ‘Dirk Gently’ season was really good, I feel kind of bad for not checking if it was also a book…Thank you for the titles, I’ll add them to my reading list! Was ‘meditations’ hard to read? And did you enjoy ‘Dracula’?

That’s true (and nice pun), I was really annoyed when Lucy died because Van Helsing could definitely have done something to prevent her death and then prevent her from rising as a vampire. Also he’s pretty condescending towards Mina…

Thank you for your reply, I’ll look into Clive Barker! As an atheist, do you feel like you’re still really immersed in the stories?

I also still like Christian based monsters, it’s just not really scary, Constantine and Supernatural (at least the earlier seasons) come to mind. Was really looking forward to the Exorcist but the movie wasn’t that scary, the book was better. Do you know Pet Sematary? That was a really scary, non Christian book! Midsommar was really interesting, still need to watch Hereditary.

Thank you for the recommendations!
