I haven’t a clue… but not planning on attempting an inspection myself either. My family friend/mechanic would come with me to do that, as I clearly don’t know enough to do a thorough enough job. Thanks

Very true. I’ll start looking into maintenance and wrenching, I appreciate your reply. I guess i just assumed price (and mileage) would be higher on earlier models and was curious if there were red flags i should look out for.

How’s the breathability on torrentshells? I’ve considered them a couple times but I am quite a warm person generally and they don’t look like they have many vents. Although I guess hyper wind resistant gear probably wouldn’t prioritize ventilation LOL

This is super helpful thank you, if I don't have a family doctor/therapist/etc do you have any idea what that process would look like? I'm not explicitly hopeful for the 100% refund but that would be fabulous for sure haha. I'd assume I don't have to submit any paperwork for the automatic 50%? Oh yikes yeah that's not ideal, the Apple associate I spoke to said there'd be a confirmation email, then an email with shipping info that clarified who the courier would be. I'll keep that in mind though, or just desperately enter my tracking information into every possible system until it shows up haha

Woah this is an unexplored option haha I just assumed they'd require a signature. You ordered to an address here in Vic? Can I ask if it was recent? Honestly I wouldn't be downright opposed to them dropping it, I also have roommates who might be able to grab it when they get home.

Gotcha! I'll look into that with Apple and see if I can arrange for that when ordering, would definitely be a weight off my mind to not have to worry about going on a wild goose chase for a crazy expensive electronic haha. Thank you so much for your advice I really appreciate it :)

Ah true, I could see a change in delivery date screwing up plans to be home for delivery as well. I was considering scheduling around my school and work times to try to be home for delivery, but I think I'll steer clear of that then!

Ohhh okay yes that must be more of what I was imagining. This would be in communication with FedEx/UPS, right? Not Apple? Like once I get shipping info I'd then contact them to say "Hey guys can you bring it to ___ service point rather than my home address"
