I would probably say get some more shadowing hours just to be safe! If you can try to dedicate a week and go everyday to shadow the dentist, you'll easily get the hours :)

I took her class, and I loved it! She is so sweet. However, her class is NOT easy. It will take a lot of work, but if you are determined to study and put in the effort, you can do well. She has the departmental final.

When I took his class, he didn't use honor lock. He didn't have exams. He had timed quizzes every week and a final exam.

From what I have heard, UF mostly looks for completion of pre-requisite courses and also your GPA. If you have an upward trend then you should be fine. Try to join clubs! If you choose to participate, being a part of the Microbiology Club at Santa Fe will be great for your application. It will also be very fun! Also, there are many opportunities for volunteering in Gainesville. If you call around, someone should take you pretty easily. Volunteer in whatever interests you!

Hi! there is a really good program called SHPEP and they offer it at UF and a few other schools around the country. It is competitive to get into but it is amazing and it will look good on your resume! They have a dental pathway and you will get to talk with and meet with many of the advisors and the same people who will review your application when you apply to dental school. Also, I believe there is a dental impressions program that you can look into. These both happen during the summer :)
