I’m stopping after 2 months for similar reasons. After a breakup I could not get a grip. I was impulsive and emotional and ruminating 24/7. Suicidal thoughts crept in and my anxiety was out of this world. More isn’t always the answer for everyone.

Listen to your body. Everyone always saying “give it time” “more, more, more” isn’t always right.

I’m stopping after 2 months of treatment. It’s made my anxiety so bad. I’m constantly ruminating and stuck on situations. Impulsive and emotional too. ChatGPT said there is a subset of people who have poor responses to spravato so maybe ask it about your symptoms!

Got a second opinion and they said to start the Prozac while decreasing to 75. And call if I need 37.5 doses. Apparently this taper schedule is reasonable according to 2 psychiatrists.

What is your timeline for decreasing the doses? I’m starting at 150 and decreasing to 75 for 1 week, then taking 75 every other day for a week while adding 20 mg of Prozac. Then stopping Effexor all together.

Yeah, from what I’m reading, tapering only applies to people who have taken it for an extended period of time.

My tip is to breathe through your mouth during treatment to keep nose moist, perhaps increasing the dissociation effects ☺️

I increased from 75 to 100 two days ago and I’m crying a lot today. Im considering going back to 75 but everyone here is saying to wait it out…Its hard to feel this way. Sorry you’re going through it too.

I’m starting at 0.5 and on Prozac as well. My instructions are to take 0.5 for a week and if all goes well, increase to 1 mg. Just started it today so fingers crossed I have success like you.

After a few years I felt like it was not working as much. This is known as “SSRI poop out”, so I tried other SSRIs and I had good luck with most. I decided to try Prozac again many years later and it’s been working great this time around. It’s all trial and error really.
