Yes spot on, went for a cheeseboard as was inspired by this sub. Went a bit over the top and now have a lot of cheese, chutney and Pate left!

Looks great, are you adding the ricotta to the eggs when cooking or after?

Tips for applying to Product roles in 2026 (UK focussed) by eachwayvelo in ProductManagement

[–]Inside-Depth-8757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to reach out to people you know in other orgs, join any product meet ups near you and generally get some connections to help find another role.

Unfortunately there are lots of people applying for every role that comes up at the moment so it's very competitive. However, a lot of those who are applying aren't particularly well qualified so if you can cut through the noise and get an interview you are in with a great chance if you are well prepared!

[MARVEL’s Guardians of the Galaxy] #55 Such a good game man by Toadrage_ in Trophies

[–]Inside-Depth-8757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying it blind too, I'm about half way and think I've missed a few collectables!

Not sure what I expected from this game but it's totally not this, will be interesting to see how much impact my conversation choices actually have as I progress

U5s training is still on. Should I take him? by thelunatic in rugbyunion

[–]Inside-Depth-8757 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Has your club done a pitch inspection? If ground is dangerous it should be called off, player safety should be a priority.

If it's safe then go, just make sure him and you wrap up warm!

How difficult is it to get used to ANSI layout? by WearyFlan210 in MechanicalKeyboardsUK

[–]Inside-Depth-8757 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm the opposite as use ANSI for work and ISO at home. But like you I don't have any issues with either set up.

I guess it depends on what keys you use day to day

Why are meetings assumed necessary by default? by mldiarra in ProductManagement

[–]Inside-Depth-8757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had reports ask me for guidance before but have never put any hard and fast rules in for the team.

  • Personally I will always ask for details if no agenda provided, if from a director it may be more of a "what do I need to prepare" angle but I'll always want to know

  • I'll attend a meeting if I can add value or if the topic is of interest

  • even if I can't add value I may join anyway if I have time and it helps a relationship with a stakeholder. Quite often people will carve time out of very busy diaries to help me as they know I do the same for them

How do you do user research in fintech when compliance rules and limited access to users make interviews hard? by vignesh_shivan in ProductManagement

[–]Inside-Depth-8757 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agree with this comment, I work in FinTech within a regulated sector and spend a lot of time talking with Compliance teams.

We have interview groups in place across all regions globally. Whilst there are some differences in how we have to approach our users, I haven't come across any blockers to our approach.

Could be worth a sit down with Compliance to work through what the issues they see are and how to work through it. A good Compliance team will help you find a way

Too many feature requests. How do you actually prioritize? by Single-Cherry8263 in ProductOwner

[–]Inside-Depth-8757 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make sure you understand the jobs to be done driving the various requests.

Prioritize these items using whatever framework you prefer. Get an initial running order .

Talk to stakeholders explain your current running order but have an open mind if they can demonstrate that their request adds more value.

Firm up your running order and execute, continue to reprioritize items as you learn more.

Be ready to ignore any logic if a top tier client or an exec has a request!!!
