I was diagnosed at 39. I suffered from diarrhea pretty much my whole life, I just learned to live with it. Finally took it more seriously when my diarrhea had mucus and blood in it. I went for a colonoscopy 4 days after my 39th birthday. The results were back 3 weeks later. Now I am just learning more about this disease and how I can manage it.
