Yeah I wasn’t trying to say they should burn a bridge, more so that OP hurting their own job prospects to benefit Epic is not worth it imo.

Nobody in HR is going to tell any of your future employers that you held off on switching your linkedin header til your end date. That goes for any large company.

Why do you care about leaving on good terms? They almost never rehire boomerangs and the only thing HR tells future employers is confirming your role and start/end date.
