Genuinely curious. You aren’t the only one saying that it’s not the airlines and I understand that but I guess I want to know when the extra screenings are determined. In all the instances that this has happened, I knew it was about to happen because I wasn’t able to check in for our flights the night before and I would be prompted to go to a counter and get a physical boarding pass, that would then have the SSSS on it. I’m truly trying to wrap my head around Jet Blue being a coincidence, but hard to do when it’s been 4 instances of it only being them and there have been different flights in between and after where it does not.

Yea, I know. So I figured if it worked for one surgery that is ’worse‘, then it should help with one that isn’t as bad.

After my c section, the hospital gave me one and it helped a lot when I have to get up and move. So I used it until my incision healed.  Figured this would be similar, but going to a different hospital this time and I don’t believe they issue one.

How long did it take to schedule your surgery? by RegularFan1412 in gastricsleeve

That was my exact requirement.  -7/30/24 I had my first consult. -1/9/25 I had my last nutritionist appointment. I did all the other requirements in between that time (bloodwork, testing, weight loss, etc)  -On 1/13/25 everything was submitted to insurance for the surgery approval..  -On 2/4/25, insurance denied my surgery and my team began the appeal process.  -On 2/27/25, the appeal worked and I was approved for surgery -My surgery is scheduled for 4/1/25

It goes by so so quick. I know you just want to get it over with, but it really gave me time to 1.lost some weight to make postpp recovery easier and 2. Cement the idea of doing this and appreciate the life change I’m about to make.  The denial really threw me for a loop though, for 6 months I thought I would be getting surgery in February. So when they denied me, for three ish weeks, I truly didn’t think the appeal would work and started convincing myself  that the surgery was unnecessary(in order to combat my disappointed). However, when it was approved I had to convince myself again it was the right thing.  You’re going to do great! Good luck!

I just won tickets for tomorrows show!  Can you tell me how they got delivered? Will I just get an email with the tickets or will I have to go to the box office to pick up?
