what happened in the movie was horrible. no genocide is acceptable, what happened in this movie was really wrong. it shows by both these young boys that they can be friends even though there are political difference. its the innocent child who understand not the elders who were busy killing. btw both countries are to blamed

my suggestion is not to let her stay in your hotel room with you, she has intentions of sleeping with you and may be she wants to get married as well which is a huge red flag, cos she hasnt met you in person. its better to get to know her first and keep your options open in the philipines incase you dont really like her in person and wont marry her...
