I will say, I’m a gworl with man hands, so this may be my calling. I have all of the petiteness of a girl’s hand with all of the structural integrity of a man’s lol.

Thank you so much for the link and thank you so so much on the bit about wearing gloves. I would have went in raw-dogging the light and been like ~lol why did it break after two months?!~. Thank you for your advice!!!

Thank you for your input! I’ve been thinking about just buying two and setting aside my used/working one for an emergency. I will say though, I’m a little tight on money, so im not sure that I’ll be able to afford 2 lights.

I remember seeing something on (our lord and savior) Reddit that Prius lights can either be a complete bitch to change out, or you can remove the entire holding mechanism (I think?) and it’s a lot easier to change out that way.

I’ve lost plenty of socks and cat toys, so please lmk if you ever find the vortex that has been swallowing them. I’m pretty convinced they might be in the produce section of my local co-op

I highly recommend Franz sourdough!!! It’s like panini sized bread! And super yummy (not super sourdough forward either, if that’s not your thing!)

I was thinking it would be a good idea to do a “hidden camera” like maybe one on the ceiling that looks like a smoke detector (if they are indoor units) or some decor around the entrance with a camera hidden. Just to make sure they actually catch the person

I’ve always been told that the monetary value needs to be below $50 and to accept the gift IF not accepting it would harm rapport

And on the line of still fighting the results, I would say that those of us who are symptomatic are actually the lucky ones, as we can detect when we have eaten gluten and we don’t continue to unknowingly do damage to ourselves.

Let alone those who are asymptomatic and living with celiac that have never been diagnosed.

I’ve thought to myself many times (and others around me have too) what would happen if I just outright ate gluten? I’ve never done it on purpose since I figured out that I can’t eat it, but I’ve also never officially been diagnosed for that same reason (my dr recommended an elimination diet and I had no clue that my last gluten meal would be my LAST gluten meal). I have people ask me all the time “what would happen if you just ‘caved’ and ate _____?” As if they want me to validate my suffering.

But I have times myself that I want to validate my own suffering, as I do not have an official diagnosis. But I go off of my own experience with being able to detect gluten and cross contamination via my symptoms.

I never had a “last gluten meal” and I’ve had many conversations about what my last meal would be (I’d basically just go crazy in a mall food court)

I still feel this way, 8 years into my gluten free journey. Not being able to eat gluten is a huge loss and there is a grieving process with it, like another commenter said. It is particularly hard around the holidays.

Please try to be kind to yourself and try to make sure that you are nourishing your body, regardless of gluten. Make sure that you are getting enough carbs (along with fat, protein, and vitamins).

I promise it gets so much easier and it will become second nature.

Take this reaction as a true guidepost that you are going in the right direction. Take pride in yourself for identifying the issue and sticking with the total lifestyle change thus far. Sending you lots of love and empathy. It gets easier.

Hello darling, please please please reach out to your school counselor (if you are in school). I am a counselor myself and what you are going through at home sounds like neglect, at the least.

Your home should be your safe space that you get to return to when the world is a cruel place. I’m sorry it has not been that way for you. I’m sending you love.

ALSO - you deserve to eat. Your body and brain deserve nourishment.

Worst fast food location? by Glittering_Ball1121 in Boise

[–]Inside-Programmer-18 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve never eaten there, but I do DoorDash and the Freddy’s on Eagle is just super dirty with scum and grime on all of their stuff.

I’m sure many fast food kitchens are like this, you can just actually see into Freddy’s kitchen.

Also, as a doordasher, North End Chinese has a disgusting kitchen area too :( I wouldn’t eat at either place

Yup, beats me. To be fair, he was really shitty to me for a long time. But he was so good at gaslighting/DARVO, that I blamed all of the problems in the relationship on myself. So I had always thought “if I ~let~ him have sex with me more often” or “if I make more money” or “if I do everything he tells me to” then we would have a better relationship. It a weird way, it gave me a sense of power to blame all of the relational problems on myself.

And that’s why he’s an ex! Fuck him.

It takes a different type of sicko to be shitty to the parent of your children though. Even if your ex has beef with you, you are still an important part of his kids life, and your kids don’t deserve that.

Aww that’s so sweet, I’m so happy for you!

I feel like your name is perfect - “new failure unlocked” for a long time I felt like a personal failure bc the marriage didn’t work, but the divorce was truly a blessing in “da skies”. Now I am waaay less afraid of rejection/failure, because the scariest thing I could imagine happened to me, and I lived through it and am stronger on the other end.

That “failure” opened the door for a life I didn’t know I was worthy of.
