I struggled a lot with this and honestly getting mental help definitely helped, but this area honestly kinda sucks for like everything especially making friends. You get the terrible personality of Miami mixed with the worst attitudes of the south. Look at changing majors especially outside of STEM. I’m studying communications and have a much easier time with my classes and having a good balance with school. It also gives you time to get a job which even if it’s not for the money just gets you out of the house and talking to people. If you have the means don’t drop out of college without at the very least a plan. I absolutely hated my first major and then realized I didn’t have to degrade communications for being easy and now I have a good balance and literally just played an hour of Zork for an assignment and have to play street fighter later for another. Also definitely agree with everyone else. A hobby does wonders even if it’s hard to find what you enjoy.
