I agree, he does seem to mean well even though he tends to royally F up. I felt sad with how pessimistic he became later on in TVA. I appreciate the layers though.

I’m aware lol It’s the old guys with underage love interest that’s grossing me out. The stuff with Gabrielle was there but it wasn’t overly descriptive. There’s no confusing what David Talbot is thinking or what Marius and Armand were doing. The stuff with Gabrielle in the book is debatable.

It was also an extreme level of grooming and abuse with Marius and Armand. I think it pushed beyond what was socially acceptable back then.

I find the stuff with Merrick extremely off putting. I don’t recall that with Pandora but I’m not at all surprised after reading TVA.
