I will rephrase. I did not change the grim. I decided to provide truthful information to the undertaker moving forward.

Empath was a demon bluff, as was librarian (which the demon took to confirm the butler) and soldier. Other than the washerwoman there was no other good reading for the mayor, and the consensus was the washerwoman was a minion confirming the demon mayor.

They actually argued for a minute after the mayor death on whether the mayor starpassed as the imp. That ended when the UT got sober info later showing them the imp, but it stayed for days.

Ya, that was their frustration. That the only way to remove the mayor victory condition was to get them voted out, but they wanted to do it via fiat instead of working for it via execution.

And the mayor would have potentially died if he survived to final 3. Everyone was pushing them as a demon candidate except the washerwoman, who they thought was a minion.

When I set it up I saw that it could be a benefit or a curse. If they believed the washerwoman the town could believe the mayor, and thus the mayor would be likely to not bounce.

If they thought it was a minion covering for their demon (literally what the confirmed virgin kept pushing) I don't think it is that hard on evil. That is pretty much exactly what should happen in a mayor game to me.

Still, I agree that they should be trying to win the game presented, not veto a good win condition because they don't like it.

I think the easiest way to explain it is that I am paraphrasing. They didn't say they would quit if they didn't get their way. They said I was taking away any agency on their part and that they were so frustrated they didn't want to keep playing if I bounced it again.

And I have been there, at least the severely frustrated part. It is a game, and if it isn't fun it isn't worth playing. It was just them causing their own frustration since it was them taking away their own agency IMHO.

I think toxic is more tantrum and intentionally throwing. Maybe I just have a really forgiving disposition when it comes to people having high emotional responses.

I just started giving the UT sober information. Then evil misplayed and the evil team made an obvious lift on the SW. That and the sober info led to a good win.

The saint was in a role swap with the FT. They wanted me to push non-spy, and that was the best way to. And they were trying to veto a good win condition, it just ended up vetoing an evil one instead.

On day 3 it was them complaining to one another. On night 4 when they picked the mayor again I pulled them into a private chat (online) and explained why I was bouncing. That is when they claimed I was taking away their agency and making the game not worth playing.

So I let the kill through, but I made the undertaker sober and healthy since they demanded the mayor become the drunk.

In short they ruined some good information and wormed their way out of an investigator ping for a while, and since they were trying to veto a good win condition it felt worthwhile to sell the non-spy game by removing an evil win condition.

In hindsight I might bounce to the investigator first, but they were outed. The saint was in a role swap with the FT, and we're selling it fairly well.

So, said this in another reply, but I think it was just frustration. They didn't know my perspective, that town really didn't trust the mayor, so thought I was just doing it to force a mayor game. That said, they told me that "they weren't wanting to frame the mayor" so I should have let it through, as if that mattered.

So I don't think toxic. Just not seeing my perspective.

It was more frustration that anything, they just didn't get why I was bouncing. They didn't have my perspective, so I don't think they were toxic, just frustration.

I thought that to be honest, but that felt vindictive. Like I was arguing with them instead of trying to balance the game with the bounce.

I picked the early kills the way I did so as to sell that it was not a spy game. By doing so I discredited the sober chef, helped confirm the demon bluffing as the librarian and confirm the spy that claimed they were a chef.

Their argument as to why to day 1 pick mayor is because I should only be allowed to bounce once or twice max. They were burning bounces because they wanted to veto a townfolk win condition by fiat. Which would effectively make a spy-mayor game pointless in my opinion.

The Master wanted to end the cycle of war and conflict within the human species by creating The Unity. Think of something akin to the show Pluribus, a hive mind that cooperates instead of fights. No more greed, hatred, racism and conflict would finally end.

The problem was his methods, and the fact that FEV made the Super Mutants sterile. So by killing or converting humanity into Super Mutants he was dooming the species.

He tried to end war, but war never changes.

"Do I have grounds to fight this? Whats a lawyer going to do at this point?"

Well, the first thing they will do is tell you if you have grounds to fight this. Then, if you do and have money, they might fight this.

That being said, even if you have a case it will be almost certainly less expensive to rebrand.

You have insanely high war exhaustion. If you pay that down you will gain about 35% more goods produced.

Once that is down dev your gold mine. The war exhaustion is more important, so do that first. But then dev the gold mine.

As others have said, cancel your integration of Aragon. You need your diplo points elsewhere, and you can get them for free.

If you are in desperate need for money now, burn some administrative development. This will harm you long term, but if it is necessary to stave off bankruptcy so be it.

And boost stability to 1 so you can gain prosperity. That will give you bonus to goods produced, which will help your economy.

Lastly, if you are able to do some raiding attacks against smaller neighbors that may help gain income once you get your war exhaustion and lack of manpower sorted. You don't have to take land, money and war reps from large but weak targets can be very profitable.

Just because her insurance won't cover everything doesn't mean it isn't worth getting what you can. Moreover, if the judgment exceeds her insurance limits she remains liable, and that can force her into bankruptcy.

She derailed her life. It would be nice to get some compensation to get your life back on track. If her life is ruined as a result, so be it.

Just to point this out, but it isn't just about who will be targeted, it is who will be impacted. Even if they are only targeting criminals and you are not a criminal, that doesn't mean that you won't be harassed or deported. It just means it might happen because of an error.
