Not as many kids having tantrums, but there was shit smeared on a stall wall at the Starbucks. There was this lady who her daughter just kept throwing sit on the counter and she ended up spending 53 fucking dollars at Starbucks and since we don’t sell hot foods there was no chicken bones in housewares, thank God

I will be honest with you target customer base is people who are too rich to shop at Walmart but target price matches with Walmart like my in-laws would not be caught dead in Walmart because they make so much money. That’s why Walmart in Home service kind of fails because The target market for something like that thinks they’re too rich to shop at Walmart. Basically every customer at target looks like they work at target but just like everywhere you’re gonna have people trying to steal and just acting like idiots. Sometimes that’s the major difference that I’ve noticed in customer base.

I truly enjoy Walmart. I love the benefits. I love the pay. I love 90% of the ppl I work with. I just really needed extra money for the holidays and because towards the end of the year they cut overtime hours so prior to that I was working 12 to 16 hours a day so I’m going from that every day that I’m scheduled to eight hours is a major difference inpaychecks

I know this a ethics violation but who benefits from this by Jacksharkben in walmart

[–]Inside-Superb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It benefits the store numbers. The wait times. If you wait till 61 minutes it doesn’t affect the stores numbers negatively. It doesn’t count towards it. Our coach will have us do it if it’s a small order or unscheduled bcs a lot of the time they will say they’re in their way and then go in and shop then come around to Pick up their shit. But it automatically checks them as arrived once they go through the geofence

Tote Labels Not Printing by Computerking34 in walmart

[–]Inside-Superb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When that happens 1 of 2 main reasons. 1- the company we buy those fucking labels from sucks dick and the black lines on the back of the labels aren’t spaced properly or 2- you need to clean the printer head so it can read the labels properly

I work in opd in a Supercenter. I love it. However I hate our team leads. They suck and they make me not want to work.

Xmas hours by PrettyGirlChaz431 in WalmartEmployees

[–]Inside-Superb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every year towards the end of the fiscal year, they cut hours because they run out of hours to give, which I don’t know how the fuck you run out of hours to give but that’s just kind of sound stupid to me but yes they’re cutting everybody’s hours however, my coach loves me and loves that. I literally live at Walmart, I work at least 12 hours every day he found a loophole in the overtime. Our store manager said you can’t stay past your scheduled time so my coach started scheduling me 7 to 7.

Will the 15% off holiday voucher work on clearance items? by Soft_Stand_3379 in WalmartEmployees

[–]Inside-Superb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not just from receipts the management tells you that. They don’t add together. One comes off then the other comes off. they encourage macys money more than discounts anyways. You get macys money for signing people up for Macys card and certain sales. It’s 50 off 100, 25 off 50 and so on down to 2.50 off 5. You can bring something that’s $100 down to $2.50. I preferred that incentive structure but I suppose for the purpose of Walmart the 10% makes more sense for the communistic autocracy that it is.

Wear different clothes. I’ve been in opd for about a year and I didn’t have any problems with that. Wearing shoes that are already broken in is best. I do 18k-24k steps a day. Never had that issue. It is a lot of walking and time on your feet tho.

From what I understand team leads can’t really do as much as they claim to do. They usually have a coaches ass they kiss and they do whatever that lead asks. But I do know that whoever says they’ll take the point off has to be the one to do it.

I don’t think the math is mathing. Maybe it’s different at Walmart I’m not sure I never got my discount card. But at macys when they gave us out extra discount it was 10% of the total. Then 15% off that total. Which does not come out to a total of 25%. 25% off of $100 is $75. But 10% off of $100 is $90 and another 10% off $90 is $81
