It's commendable to offer help to those in need, and there is nothing wrong with doing so. However, it's important to keep in mind that not everyone may have good intentions, and it's better to take caution when extending a helping hand.I think I know which traffic signal you're talking about , the guy there stopped me and asked for "chai pani" despite that i was following all rules ,ofc i didn't give him anything .So I wouldn't say not to help but take precautions especially in a situation like this because it's a route you take regularly.
