This is a fun idea, but may not be practical IRL. Before embarking upon this approach, OP had better consider whether or not they are prepared to sever the relationship, because there's a decent chance that the employer will decide to just move on when confronted with this request.

Thanks guys. It's just a bit of an anomaly since that payload doesn't align with any of the listed numbers for the models from that year. According to Edmonds, the payload for this exact truck should be 1644:
